Brand Purpose: Why we do what we do?
The name DAWN embodies the belief in a better tomorrow and the mindset of taking the future into our own hands. Founded by Ines, Gabriel, and Marian, D is changing the fashion industry — one pair of jeans at a time.

Our journey began in 2015, and much has changed since then. Naive but enthusiastic, we started this adventure. Owning a factory in Saigon, Vietnam, it seemed logical and almost too simple to start our own brand. It turned into a roller coaster of exciting, painful, joyful, and groundbreaking experiences. We are grateful for all of them as they made us who we are today. Not smarter but wiser. We know that we don’t know everything and accept that sustainability is a journey—often a bumpy one—but the only one we want to walk together.

Der Name D verkörpert den Glauben an ein besseres Morgen und die Einstellung, die Zukunft selbst in die Hand zu nehmen. Gegründet von Ines, Gabriel und Marian verändert D die Modebranche – eine Jeans nach der anderen.

Unsere Reise begann 2015 und seitdem hat sich viel verändert. Naiv, aber enthusiastisch begannen wir dieses Abenteuer. Da wir eine Fabrik in Saigon, Vietnam besitzen, schien es logisch und fast zu einfach, unsere eigene Marke zu gründen. Es wurde zu einer Achterbahnfahrt aus aufregenden, schmerzhaften, freudigen und bahnbrechenden Erfahrungen. Wir sind für sie alle dankbar, denn sie haben uns zu dem gemacht, was wir heute sind. Nicht klüger, aber weiser. Wir wissen, dass wir nicht alles wissen und akzeptieren, dass Nachhaltigkeit eine Reise ist – oft eine holprige – aber die einzige, die wir gemeinsam gehen wollen.
