Lo sultán de Babilonia envíe a una filla seua a casás en lo rey del Algarve, Portugal, la que, per diverses calamidats, en cuatre añs arribe a les mans de nou homens a diferens puestos. Al final, restituida al pare com a donsella, torne a la voreta del rey del Algarve com a dona, a lo que anabe primé.
